I totally agree! It is really hard to write good objectives because they require strategic thinking that most org (and leaders) don't spend the time doing.

I've been using OKRs (and those people interested in checking out OKRs) as a way to incept them with strategic questions that will help be better leaders.

Getting started is the hardest part. The second hardest part is to keep going. Without muddling through the hard parts we don't learn how to be more strategic or what is even an objective really is.
